Darlene Boschert, RHIA, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, NCMA
Darlene has served for the National Advisory Board for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She has also served on the advisory board for The Coding Institute, BC Advantage, The Coder’s Edge and numerous other magazines.
From 1984 to 1992 Darlene successfully owned and operated her own medical billing, coding, transcription, and consulting business. After selling the business in 1992, she worked as a Practice Administrator for 12 years for an orthopedic practice.
She has been a national consultant and speaker for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Aetna and many more, and has also put on local and national seminars for various consulting companies throughout the past 30 years. In addition, Darlene has been a seminar presenter for the AAPC, PACHS, AMA, and The Coding Institute, to name a few.
She is an approved AAPC Instructor and Proctor for the American Academy of Professional Coders.
Cynthia Black, CPC
With over 20 years of experience in the medical sector, Cindy has worked in various fields such as Internal Medicine, Psychiatry (both inpatient and outpatient), OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery, as well as in a Non-Profit Organization. She has worked in business offices, hospitals, and private practices, and had worked in upper management for 15 years before starting to teach just over 4 years ago. She received her CPC in 2005 while working in a Urology Group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
